This recipe is very simple to make. My aunt improved the quantities of ingredients year after year, so I recommend that you do not change the quantities described below.
In a large bowl add all of the ingredients and mix until combined.
If you don’t want just plain vanilla ice cream you can add fruit, chocolate chips, or even nuts as desired. If you have a regular ice cream maker, pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and mix for about 20 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and freeze until firm (it takes about 4 hours) or freeze it according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The ice cream is ready to serve!
Notes
If you have a Ninja Creami or similar, you need to freeze the mixture for about 24 hours before using the machine.
