My Go-To Peanut Butter Blossoms Recipe

Here are the things you need to HAVE and KNOW for your peanut butter blossoms to come out perfect and flavorful.
Ingredients (Makes ~20 cookies)
You only need 5 ingredients to make this happen.
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ~20 chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Optional: Extra sugar for rolling
Easy Step-by-Step:
Follow these simple instructions to make your peanut butter cookies:
- Get your oven to about 175°C / 350°F.
- Next, line your baking sheet with parchment paper. This prevents your cookies from sticking to the tray and also makes cleanup easier.
- Mix peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla in a bowl. Ensure the texture is smooth.
- Roll the dough into small balls. If you want an extra-sweetened effect, roll with sugar.
- Arrange these balls on your baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. Check to see if the balls are puffed and lightly golden before taking them out of the oven.
- While the cookies are still warm, press a chocolate kiss into the center of each.
- Let them cool for 5-10 minutes before enjoying.
And… That’s it, your cookies are ready!
Can I Store or Freeze These Cookies
Yes, you can store or freeze these cookies. This means you can make them in large batches and simply go back to them whenever you crave something sweet and chewy.
Here are the different ways to store your peanut butter blossoms:
- At room temperature, store them in an airtight container. In this state, they can last for up to 5 days. You can be sure that they will stay soft and chewy throughout.
- Once the cookies are completely cool, place them in a zip bag or container and freeze for up to 2 months. When you are ready to eat them, ensure you thaw them at room temperature. The chocolate kiss might get a little dull, BUT it still tastes great nonetheless.

There you have it! All my preparation processes and ingredients in ONE PLACE. With the information right here, your peanut butter blossoms should never come out dull, less tasty, or too firm.
This is the simplest recipe you will ever find. With no chill time or stress. Just a tray full of these soft, chewy cookies with that perfect combo of peanut and chocolatey flavors.
