As many of you may already know, I am gluten intolerant. I can’t eat anything with gluten, otherwise the stomach aches start to appear… And with force!
From the moment I came across my “disease“, I decided to look for and make several gluten-free recipes, to prove that a recipe doesn’t need to contain gluten to be good (check out my gluten-free chocolate chip cookies!).
Of all the recipes I saw, learned and tested, the peach cobbler recipe stuck in my head… It’s so, so good, you have to try it!
The Best Gluten-Free Peach Cobbler Recipe You Will Ever Try

For this recipe we have two sets of ingredients, the ingredients for the filling and the ingredients for the topping. None of the ingredients contain gluten, because we will use gluten-free flour for both. However, if you want to remove or change any of the ingredients, feel free to do so.
Ingredients For the Filling:
- 6-8 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced;
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar;
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch;
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon;
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional);
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice;
Ingredients For the Topping:
- 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour blend;
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar;
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder;
- 1/4 teaspoon salt;
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted;
- 1 large egg;
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions:
Now that you have all the ingredients (they may seem like a lot, but most of them are simple ingredients that we all have in our pantry!), you can start making this delicious recipe. Are you ready? Believe me, it’s so worth it!
Step 1 – Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or a similar-sized ovenproof dish.

Follow Me NowStep 2 – Prepare the Peach Filling
In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, cornstarch, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), and lemon juice. Mix well until the peaches are evenly coated. Pour the peach mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Step 3 – Make the Topping
In a separate bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour blend, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined. The batter will be thick.
Step 4 – Assemble the Cobbler
Drop spoonfuls of the topping over the peach filling. It’s okay if some of the peach filling is visible. The topping will spread as it bakes.

Step 5 – Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbly.
Step 6 – Serve
Let the cobbler cool slightly before serving. It’s delicious on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipping cream.

As you can see, this recipe is very simple to make. I truly hope you enjoyed it!
My husband LOVES tons of cinnamon on his, but our kids aren’t big fans of cinnamon. So when making this just for us to eat at home, sometimes I separate the batch into individual bowls and add extra cinnamon to ours!

Gluten is something that can harm us a lot (if we are intolerant or allergic, of course), so I think it is essential that avoid it as much as possible. Learning these recipes makes everything easier.

Have fun cooking!
