5 – Baked Potato Chips and Salsa

Baked Potato Chips

This is an easy-to-make, crunchy and delicious snack for diabetics. The baked potato chips and salsa have the essential nutrients your body needs and also deliver a smooth “munching” experience.

The tomatoes and veggies in the salsa add to its taste – making it one of my all-time favorite snacks.

6 – Whisps Parmesan Crisp Chips

If you love to keep your snack simple, then, you should go for this. You need just 1 ingredient to make the parmesan chips. All you need is CHEESE.

For those who are under strict carb regulation, the Whisps parmesan crisp chips are a great snack idea with less than 2 grams of carbohydrate per serving.

Additionally, it’s extremely delicious and satisfying to the taste.

7 – Low-fat Cottage Cheese

Cottage Cheese

This is a healthy snack idea for you. Filled with essential nutrients, this low-fat cottage cheese stands out as one of the best meals for diabetics.

I love the low-fat cottage cheese because it allows me to add my favorite apple pie as toppings – making it the perfect dessert for brunch and lunch.

8 – Honey Roasted Pistachios

Honey Roasted Pistachios

With these honey-roasted pistachios, you will get a healthy snack that satisfies all of your cravings. As a diabetic patient, you don’t need to subject yourself to non-sumptuous meals. You can maintain a healthy diet WHILE enjoying every bite of your meal.

These pistachios are great snack ideas for you. As you go about your daily activities, a handful of these nuts will be helpful.

9 – Hard Boiled Eggs

Hard Boiled Eggs

1 egg has 1 gram of carbohydrates and a little above 65 calories. This makes it a perfect and healthy snack for diabetics. Furthermore, it is high in protein, which supplies the body with enough energy to keep going all day.

With hard-boiled eggs, blood sugar spikes can be prevented.

10 – Microwaved or Air-Popped Popcorn

Popcorn

Ensure you select a low-fat variety of corn. This keeps your calorie and carb intake under control.

Air-popped popcorn is delicious, crunchy, and satisfying to the belly.

If you are a lover of popcorn, your diabetes shouldn’t stop you from giving yourself the best treat.

Popcorn is a great snack for diabetics. Have fun munching them.

11 – Vanilla Greek Yoghurt Bar

Vanilla Greek Yoghurt Bar

As a diabetic, I often crave sweetened bars. Thankfully, I stumbled on this Greek yogurt bar and it has become my all-time favorite snack bar for brunch.

You should try it out as well.

1 bar consists of:

  • 140 calories
  • 12 grams of carbohydrates
  • 10 grams of sugar
  • 1 gram of fiber
  • 8 grams of protein

It also consists of probiotics which are good for enhancing insulin sensitivity.

12 – Oatmeal and Berries

Oatmeal and Berries

This isn’t just a normal breakfast meal. Oatmeal and berries work for diabetic patients. It’s a sumptuous snack idea. Oatmeal has less than 15 grams of carbohydrates, which is healthy enough for you.

Top your oatmeal with your favorite berry. This spices up its flavor – giving you the best treat ever.

13 – Low-fat mozzarella and Tomatoes

Rather than dressing this combo with your favorite topping, it’s recommended to use just olive oil or balsamic vinegar and a dash of pepper for a spiced-up taste.

This snack is best eaten at home. For work environments, hard-boiled eggs or honey-roasted pistachios are great.

I truly hope these snacks are to your liking! Believe me, it’s not because we have diabetes that we have to eat poorly, which is why I introduced you to some Keto recipes at the beginning of this article.

Before you leave, don’t forget to save this Pin for later.

Have fun cooking and eating healthy!
