- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or oregano)
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper

Mix. Rub. Rest 10 minutes. Cook.
2) Lemon Pepper Seasoning (bright, fresh, not boring)

Zesty. Peppery. Clean. The “why does this taste so good?” seasoning.
Best for: air fryer chicken, grilled thighs, salads
Makes: about 1.5 to 2 lb chicken
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt (optional, lemon pepper can be salty)
Quick method
Mix. Coat. Cook hot for good browning.
3) Smoky BBQ Rub (sticky edges without sauce)

Smoky. A little sweet. Char-friendly. This one tastes like summer.
Best for: grilling, sheet pan chicken, drumsticks
Makes: about 1.5 to 2 lb chicken
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Quick method
Mix. Rub. Cook over medium-high heat.
4) Taco Seasoning (fastest way to make dinner feel fun)

This is my favorite Taco seasoning! It’s super easy, quick, and also cheap.
Best for: fajitas, taco bowls, meal prep
Makes: about 1.5 to 2 lb chicken
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
Quick method
Mix. Coat. Cook. Slice.
5) Cajun Kick Seasoning (the one with attitude)

Smoky heat. Big flavor. The seasoning that makes chicken feel “restaurant.”
Best for: air fryer thighs, skillet chicken, rice bowls
Makes: about 1.5 to 2 lb chicken
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne (use less if sensitive)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Quick method
Mix. Rub. Cook. Don’t overthink it.
6) Honey Mustard (quick glaze style, and it’s perfect)

Sweet. Tangy. A little sharp. Makes picky eaters quiet.
Best for: chicken breast, thighs, skewers
Makes: about 1.5 to 2 lb chicken
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Quick method
Stir. Coat. Rest 15 minutes. Bake, grill, or air fry.
7) Greek Oregano Lemon (fresh, simple, obsessed)

Bright. Herby. Light but flavorful. Tastes amazing with salads and rice.
Best for: grilled chicken, sheet pan chicken, meal prep
Makes: about 1.5 to 2 lb chicken
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (or 1 grated clove)
- Zest of 1 lemon (or 1 tsp lemon juice)
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Quick method
Mix. Coat. Cook. Squeeze more lemon at the end if you want.
8) Parmesan Herb Seasoning (crispy, savory, golden)

Salty. Crispy. Cozy. The one that tastes like comfort food.
Best for: baked or air fryer chicken cutlets, tenders
Makes: about 1.5 to 2 lb chicken
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp grated parmesan
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Salt only if needed (parmesan is salty)
Quick method
Mix. Press onto chicken. Bake or air fry until golden.
9) Sweet Chili Lime (sticky, bright, weeknight winner)

Sweet heat. Glossy edges. The “this disappeared too fast” flavor.
Best for: thighs, tenders, stir-fry style chicken
Makes: about 1.5 to 2 lb chicken
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Quick method
Stir. Coat. Cook over medium heat so it doesn’t burn.
10) Teriyaki Ginger (the easiest “takeout-style” flavor)

Savory-sweet. Gingery. Addictive. Tastes like a real plan.
Best for: thighs, skewers, rice bowls
Makes: about 1.5 to 2 lb chicken
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tsp grated ginger (or 1/2 tsp ground ginger)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Optional: 1 tsp sesame oil
Quick method
Mix. Coat. Cook. Sprinkle sesame seeds if you want to be extra.
Chicken doesn’t need to be complicated, it just needs a little help.
Pick one seasoning. Mix it in a bowl. Coat your chicken. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
