Follow Me NowSliders are one of my favorite things to make for game day because they’re easy to grab, easy to serve, and you can put out several different kinds without making a full meal for everyone.
I’ve rounded up 19 game day slider recipes with a little bit of everything, from cheeseburgers and French dips to buffalo chicken, pizza, pulled pork, and hot honey chicken. Some take less than 30 minutes, while others can be prepped ahead so there’s less to do once everyone arrives.
1) French Dip Sliders By Belly Full

These always go over well when I want something a little more filling than the usual party snacks. You get roast beef, caramelized onions, provolone, and buttery Hawaiian rolls, but the au jus for dipping is what really makes them worth adding to the game day table.
2) Pizza Sliders By Two Peas & Their Pod

Pizza flavors are always an easy win with both kids and adults. These have pepperoni, Italian sausage, mozzarella, and pizza sauce packed into Hawaiian rolls, and they only take about 35 minutes. I always put extra warm pizza sauce nearby for dipping.
3) Chicken Parmesan Sliders By Lil’ Luna

I love this one when I want something familiar that still feels different from regular sliders. Using breaded chicken tenders keeps the prep really simple, and the combination of marinara, mozzarella, Parmesan, and garlic butter gives you all those classic chicken Parmesan flavors in about 30 minutes.

Follow Me Now4) Oven Baked Cheeseburger Sliders By Donuts2Crumpets

These were made for a hungry football crowd. The seasoned beef gets layered with American cheese, mozzarella, and sharp cheddar, so they come out ridiculously cheesy. Once everything is assembled, they only need around 14 to 16 minutes in the oven, which is handy when people are already waiting.
5) Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joe Sliders By Plowing Through Life

This is such a good mashup when plain cheeseburger sliders feel a little boring. Ground beef gets cooked with peppers, mushrooms, onions, gravy, and cheese, then piled onto Hawaiian rolls. The recipe makes 24 sliders in about 30 minutes, so it’s especially useful for a bigger crowd.
6) Hot Ham and Cheese Sliders By Belly Full

Ham and cheese sliders are one of those recipes I keep coming back to because practically everyone eats them. These take only about 25 minutes and have Swiss cheese plus a buttery honey-mustard topping. You can also assemble them the day before and add the sauce just before baking.
7) Meatball Parmesan Sliders By Easy Family Recipes

These are always fun because each little roll gets its own meatball, marinara, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Frozen meatballs make the whole thing much easier than it looks, and you can prepare most of the sliders up to 24 hours ahead. The full batch makes 24, which is perfect for parties.
8) Easy Buffalo Chicken Sliders By Foody Schmoody Blog

If I need something fast, these are hard to beat. They use ground chicken instead of shredded chicken and are ready in about 15 minutes. Buffalo sauce, ranch or blue cheese dressing, cheddar, celery, and carrot give them plenty of classic buffalo flavor without having to deal with messy wings.
9) Hot Italian Sub Sliders By The Jam Jar Kitchen

These are packed with ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, pepperoncini, and hot cherry peppers, so there’s a lot of flavor in every bite. Prep takes only about five minutes, and I like serving them with warm marinara. Double or triple the batch if you’re feeding a big group.
10) BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders with Vinegar Slaw By The Rising Spoon

I especially like these when I already have pulled pork in the fridge because the sliders themselves take only about 15 minutes. The sweet and smoky barbecue pork with crunchy vinegar slaw is such a good combination, and a batch makes 12 sliders without requiring much extra work.
11) Bacon Ranch Chicken Sliders By Nutrition to Fit

Chicken, bacon, ranch, and cheddar is one of those combinations that rarely comes back with leftovers. Rotisserie chicken works perfectly here and cuts down on prep, and the whole batch is ready in about 30 minutes. I’d cook the bacon and shred the chicken ahead if game day is going to be busy.
12) Nashville Hot Honey Chicken Slider Sandwiches By Casual Epicure

I’d start these the night before because the chicken benefits from sitting in the seasoned buttermilk brine overnight. The extra planning pays off, though. You get crispy fried chicken brushed with hot honey, then topped with crunchy coleslaw and pickles for that sweet, spicy, tangy combination.
13) Hot Honey Chicken Sliders By Bad Batch Baking

Hot honey chicken has become one of my favorite ways to make sliders feel a little more exciting. These have seriously crispy fried chicken, a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze, pickles, garlic-butter toasted buns, and ranch. Definitely plan ahead for the marinade rather than starting these right before kickoff.
14) Jalapeno Popper Chicken Sliders By Family Fresh Meals

These are a fun change from regular chicken sliders, especially if your crowd likes a little heat. The filling combines cream cheese, bacon, pickled jalapeños, chicken, and sharp cheddar, and you can assemble everything ahead of time. Just refrigerate the pan until you’re ready to bake.
15) Taco Sliders By Kitchen Divas

I’ve found taco flavors disappear fast at parties, and putting them into sliders makes them much less messy to eat while watching the game. These are loaded with seasoned ground beef, tomatoes, Mexican-blend cheese, and taco sauce and take roughly 35 minutes from start to finish.
16) Smash Burger Sliders By Savored Sips

These give you those crispy, caramelized smash burger edges without committing to full-size burgers. The patties cook incredibly quickly on a hot griddle and get topped with American cheese and burger sauce. The original recipe makes four, so I’d definitely double or triple it for game day.
17) Cuban Sliders By The Chunky Chef

These are a great choice when I want something beyond the usual ham and cheese. They’re layered with ham, pulled pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard, then finished with garlic butter. Even better, you can assemble the entire pan a day ahead and refrigerate it until baking time.
18) Reuben Sliders By The Country Cook

Anyone who loves a good Reuben will go straight for these. Corned beef, sauerkraut, cheese, and dressing get turned into easy little handheld sandwiches with a buttery glazed top. They make 12 in about 40 minutes, and I like putting extra Russian or Thousand Island dressing out for dipping.
19) Monte Cristo Sliders By Lil’ Luna

I love ending the list with something a little different. These have ham, turkey, Swiss cheese, Dijon, and that classic dusting of powdered sugar for a sweet-savory bite. You can assemble them one or two days ahead, and raspberry jam on the side makes them even better.
The hardest part might be deciding which sliders to make because there are so many good options here. For a bigger game day crowd, I like choosing two or three different flavors, usually something classic like cheeseburger or ham and cheese, something spicy, and one recipe that feels a little unexpected.
Most of these are easy to scale up, and several can be prepared ahead, which means less time in the kitchen and more time actually enjoying the game.
