Craving soft, garlicky naan bread but don’t have an oven? This no-fail recipe uses just 6 simple ingredients to create the perfect fluffy naan right in your kitchen!

The Easiest No-Oven Garlic Naan Bread Recipe You’ll Ever Try!

I’m not an expert in cooking, so if I can make this Naan bread recipe the first time, I’m sure you can too!

This recipe is very simple and doesn’t require any resting time. So, you can make the bread dough and bake it (no oven!) straight away.

The bread is fluffy, soft and very tasty. It’s ideal as an appetizer or even as a side dish. Trust me, you’ll love the end result!

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cup Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Step 1: Mix All the Ingredients

Start by combining the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Make a small well in the center and add the oil and milk.

Mix everything well with a spoon, and if you prefer, knead it by hand (that’s what I did!). Keep kneading until you form a smooth, homogeneous dough ball.

Step 2: Divide the Dough in 4

This recipe makes enough dough for four naan breads. If you want smaller ones, you can divide the dough into eight portions instead. (I went with four! You can check the photos in this article to see the size. They turned out quite large!)

Step 3: Roll and Cook

Now, roll out each dough ball until it’s thin – the thinner, the better it cooks! Heat up a skillet with a bit of olive oil, ensuring it’s nice and hot before placing the naan in.

You’ll know it’s ready when large bubbles start to form across the surface. Flip and cook until both sides are golden brown.

Once cooked, brush your naan with some garlic butter for a deliciously irresistible finish. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself for this step!
