Follow Me NowToday I’m going to show you the easiest bread recipe on the Internet that only needs to rest for a little over 1 hour! It’s the no-knead Ciabatta bread recipe!

This bread is delicious… Seriously! It’s really delicious! We made two loaves to eat with my in-laws and there were none left!
This bread is super easy to make and can be made the same day, because it only needs to rest for 1 hour and a half. It’s super soft, fluffy and a little crunchy.
It’s excellent for breakfast, to accompany meals and to eat warm with butter! Are you ready to try this recipe?
Believe me, after that you won’t want anything else!
Easy No-Knead Ciabatta Bread Recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups (270g) Bread flour (you can use all-purpose flour instead)
- 1 tbsp (6g) active dry yeast (you can use 2 tsp instant yeast)
- 1 tsp (5g) salt
- 1/2 (4g) tsp sugar
- 1 (240ml) cup warm water
Step 1: Activate the Active Dry Yeast & Combine the Ingredients
Start by activating the active dry yeast. To do this, place it in 1/4 cup of warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes. Once the yeast becomes frothy and bubbly, it’s ready to use in your recipe.

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, activated yeast, salt, sugar, and the remaining warm water. Stir until well combined.

Step 2: Mix the Dough
Mix the ingredients thoroughly until a sticky dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a little extra flour. However, keep in mind that ciabatta dough is naturally sticky, so don’t worry if it’s a bit wet.

Once the dough is well mixed, sprinkle some flour over the top, cover the bowl with a cloth, and let it rest for 1.5 hours to rise.
Step 3: Shape the Dough
Once the dough has risen, sprinkle flour over a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Gently transfer the dough onto the tray, then divide it into two portions.
Use a little more flour to help shape the dough into a rustic, baguette-like form. Don’t worry about making it perfect… Just aim for the shape you see below!

Now it’s time to preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C)!
Step 4: Create Steam & Bake
Fill a separate dish with 1-2 cups of boiling water and place it on the bottom rack of the oven. This will create steam during the baking process. Then, place the dough on the top rack and bake for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, remove the water dish from the oven and continue baking the ciabatta for about 10 to 15 minutes until golden and crispy on the outside.
Once baked, remove your ciabatta from the oven. It will have a beautifully golden and crispy crust. Let it cool slightly, and then enjoy your fresh, homemade bread!
