I have a special liking for desserts! It’s mostly linked to my childhood. My mum made appetizers before EVERY MEAL and it has become a major part of my life. Over the years, I’ve tried out tons of dessert recipes and enjoyed quite a few.

However, I stumbled on ONE SPECIAL DESSERT RECIPE and couldn’t take my “mouth” off it.

It’s called “The Better Than Sex” Cake. This mouth-watering dessert has become my favorite of ‘em all. I have it sitting comfortably in my freezer and ready to eat anytime I want.

THIS IS THE BEST DESSERT I’ve EVER MADE IN MY LIFE and I am about to give you the full recipe.

Trust me! None of these names do justice to how delectable this dessert is.

Essential Ingredients for the Best Dessert I’ve Ever Made in My Life

To make the better-than-sex cake, you will need all of these essential ingredients:

Ingredients:

  • 8-ounce tub of Cool Whip;
  • 4 Heath candy bars;
  • A jar of caramel sauce;
  • Devil’s Food chocolate box cake (with the ingredients listed on the box);
  • 1 can of sweet condensed milk (14 ounces).

In addition to these ingredients, you can be creative in your cake mix. For example, rather than using the Devil’s Food Chocolate Box Cake, you can spice things up by using the German chocolate cake mix.

While making the cake mix, I recently tried using 2 eggs with half a cup of whiskey and it turned out great. You might want to try that out as well.

Furthermore, feel free to use any sauce and topping of your choice. Instead of fudge, you can try out caramel. They both taste great by the way.

Instructions:

Let me give you a breakdown of how I make my favorite “better than sex cake” dessert. 

Step 1 – Bake the cake

The first thing I do is to bake the cake. You can use the package instructions for a 9X13 cake. 

Step 2 – Poke holes throughout the cake

After the cake is properly baked, I poke holes throughout the cake with the end of a wooden spoon. Do this when the cake is still warm. It prevents the cake from breaking at the top.

Step 3 – It’s condensed milk time!

Once this is done, I pour my condensed milk all over the top of the cake and ensure that all the holes are filled with milk. 

Step 4 – Spread out the caramel sauce

The next step is to spread out the caramel sauce (or any sauce of your choosing) all over the cake. 

To get the best “chilled” result, I refrigerate my better-than-sex cake for nothing less than 2 hours.

Afterwards, I garnish my chilled cake with a spread of Cool Whip and chopped heath bars.

Voila! My favorite dessert is ready!!!

Additional Recommendations

Spice things up by adding your favorite cream and toppings. You might also serve the cake alongside your favorite drinks.

Store in the freezer for up to 3 months using a foil. Enjoy!!!
