How to Make the Special Baked Tuna Casserole
This quick and simple baked tuna casserole can be prepared using the following steps. I’ve used this same process EVERY time and the result has been consistent.
Follow the same to get astounding results with your tuna casserole.
- Cook your egg noodles according to the description on the packet. Before doing that, ensure your oven is heated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Before taking your egg noodles off the oven, ensure it is “al dente”. This means that it must be FIRM in the mouth – yet tender. When biting into it, there should be a bit of resistance in your mouth while the tender framework is maintained.
- Get a separate bowl and mix your “cooked” egg noodles, mushroom soup, milk, tuna, celery salt, black pepper, parsley and 1 and ¼ cups of mild cheddar cheese.
- Once this is done, get a casserole dish, spray it with a non-stick spray and pour your mixture into it.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes over a heat of 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Don’t stop until the mixture is hot and bubbly.
- Mix your bread crumbs and melted butter.
- After about 30 minutes of baking, your tuna casserole will be ready. Take it out of the oven and top it with the breadcrumbs mixture and the remaining ¼ cup of mild cheddar cheese.
- Take your casserole back to the oven and bake till the breadcrumbs turn golden brown and the cheese is melted on the top.
- Serve while it is hot.
There! You have it.
This special recipe is a night show-stopper. There is no better way to end your day than a plate of the quick and simple “speciale” baked tuna casserole.
