Amazing Homemade Fried Rice - You Will LOVE!

Fried rice is one of my favorite meals of all time. Over the years, I’ve tried out several fried rice recipes and they’ve all been good. However, something is fascinating about THIS recipe and I would love to share it with you. 

I call this recipe the “better-than-sex yummy fried rice”. Once you get a hold of this recipe, you will never have to visit a takeout restaurant again. Trust me! It’s been 8 months since I last visited a restaurant to get fried rice. 

This saves me money and eliminates the stress of driving down to my favorite spot in town.

I present to you the “Amazing Homemade Fried Rice Recipe that is Better than Sex”.

My Special Homemade Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients

Below are the essential ingredients you need to make this amazing fried rice:

  • 1 Tablespoon of Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Cups of Cooked Rice
  • 2 Cloves of Minced Garlic
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce
  • Green Onions
  • ½ Teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Handful of peas (optional)
  • ¼ Chopped Large Vidalia Onion

Sometimes, I use brown rice instead of white rice. The quality of your fried rice isn’t determined by the type of rice you use. However, brown rice takes longer to cook than white rice. So, your preferred choice of rice is allowed – putting into consideration the time factor.

To make this meal healthier, I spice it up with vegetables. You can use whichever you have. I won’t be recommending any. 

If you have any leftover chicken, ground beef, or meat in your freezer, then, add it to your fried rice. It adds a little flavor to the overall ingredient mix.

How to Cook This Homemade Fried Rice

This is the breakdown of how I cook this amazing homemade fried rice. Follow the same steps to make the best, sumptuous and flavourful fried rice. 

  1. The package directions give clear-cut instructions on how to prepare your rice. Once this is done, set the cooked rice aside. 
  2. Heat your vegetable oil under medium heat. Afterwards, add your onion and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes and stir occasionally to prevent them from burning. 
  3. The next thing is to add your veggies and stir fry for 1 minute. Ensure they are properly thawed. 
  4. Add your rice to the mix and increase the heat to medium-high. Stir the rice occasionally until it’s hot and begins to turn brown.
  5. Reduce the heat and make a hole in the center of the pan. Do this by moving the rice to both sides of the pan. 
  6. Crack your eggs in the center of the pan and let it cook. Once this is done, mix your fried rice and eggs.
  7. Your soy sauce and sesame oil come next. Mix them and pour on top of the rice.
  8. Mix your cooked fried rice with your sauce until an even texture is achieved.
  9. Serve your fried rice with an extra topping. You can use green onions. 

It’s as simple as that!!!
