Every now and then I just need something savory and delicious… and chicken wings are always the answer. Yesterday I opened my fridge and realized I had a few basic ingredients that would make the perfect marinade.

Easy Marinated Chicken Wings (Easy, Juicy & Full of Flavor!)

I’m not even kidding: these marinated chicken wings turned out so juicy, so flavorful, and slightly sticky in the best way. The best part? You can prep everything in 5 minutes, let it marinate, and then bake or air fry!

Before you even start, save these 11 chicken marinades for grill, oven and air fryer!

Super Easy Marinated Chicken Wings Recipe

Easy Marinated Chicken Wings (Easy, Juicy & Full of Flavor!)

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 1.5 lb chicken wings (700 g)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey (or brown sugar)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic powder (or 3 fresh garlic cloves)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt (optional)

How to Make Marinated Chicken Wings

Let’s do this!

Step 1:

Place the chicken wings in a bowl and pat them dry with paper towels (this helps them get crispy!).

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, paprika, and black pepper.

Step 3:

Pour the marinade over the wings and mix well until everything is coated.

Step 4:

Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes (but if you can do 2 hours, it tastes even better!).

Step 5 (Oven):

Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway.

Step 6 (Air Fryer):

Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 18–22 minutes, shaking halfway.

If you want them extra sticky, brush a little leftover marinade on the wings in the last 5 minutes (just make sure it’s cooked through!).
