Summer is coming and the proof of this is that I have published 2 family ice cream recipes… One of them was the strawberry ice cream recipe and the other was my aunt’s vanilla ice cream recipe.
As I have a few more secrets in store, I decided to share with you another simple recipe, this time taught by my cousin. It’s a simple (but delicious) peach ice cream recipe! As I know that this type of recipe is becoming more and more popular, I decided to publish this version of mine (my cousin’s, actually…).
I won’t waste any more time! Simply see another image of this delicious ice cream below (careful not to make your mouth water) and start making your own peach ice cream at home!
My Cousin’s Secret Peach Ice Cream Recipe

Now that you’ve seen that this ice cream looks good, you can start gathering all the ingredients to start making it! I recommend that you do not change the quantities of the ingredients, as I have adjusted them myself over the years.
Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups white sugar;
- 6 large eggs, beaten;
- 12 fresh peaches, pitted and chopped;
- 4 cups heavy cream;
- 2 cups half-and-half cream;
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract;
- ¾ teaspoon salt.
Simple directions:
Now that you have all the ingredients on hand, you can start step by step. It seems like a lot of steps, but believe me, it’s really simple! Let’s start?
Step 1
In a large bow, mix the sugar and eggs together until smooth.

Chop two of the peaches into very small pieces and save it for later. Purée the rest of the peaches in a blender or food processor.
Step 3
Stir the peach purée into the egg mixture.
Step 4
Add to the previous mixture the sliced peaches, cream, half-and-half, vanilla and salt. Make sure it’s all blended.
Step 5
Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and freeze it according to the manufacturer’s instructions, for about 20 minutes.
Step 6
Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and freeze until firm (it takes about 4 hours).

Equipment
- Ice cream maker
