I’ve never made many appetizers because I rarely find a recipe that I like, but when I saw this recipe on TikTok, I thought it was a great opportunity to do something different!
Yes, something different, because I actually changed it a little (I changed the dough, I used pizza dough, because it tastes much better!).
This appetizer is simple and only takes a few minutes to make. Plus, you can make it and freeze it for later, so when you have unexpected guests, you just have to put it in the oven for 15 minutes.
The recipe is so simple and quick to make that you can’t miss out on trying it.

Garlic Butter Pizza Croissants Recipe

Ingredients:
- Store-bought pizza dough
- Grated cheese
- Chorizo
- Garlic butter (1 tbsp butter + 1 tsp garlic powder)
Step 1: Cut the Pizza Dough
Start by cutting the pizza dough into triangles. Remember, the larger the triangle, the bigger your croissant will be.

Step 2: Add Cheese and Chorizo


Place grated cheese and slices of chorizo on the widest part of each triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the tip to form the croissant shape.


Step 3: Brush with Garlic Butter
For extra flavor, generously brush the croissants with garlic butter. You can also sprinkle some oregano on top for added color, flavor, and a touch of elegance.


Step 4: Bake for 15 minutes
Bake the croissants in a preheated oven at 400°F (210ºC) for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Be sure to check the recommended baking time on the pizza dough packaging for best results.
