- 500 g (1 lb) ground meat (beef, pork, or mix)
- 1 small onion, very finely chopped
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2–3 tbsp all-purpose flour (for coating)
- 2–3 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 tsp paprika (plus extra for garnish)
Optional boost: 1 small garlic clove, minced (or ½ tsp garlic powder). It will make the sauce tastier.

The first step is to mix the meatball mixture.

Simply combine ground meat, chopped onion, the egg, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper in a bowl.

Mix everything until it is combined.
Afterwards, roll the mixture into even balls. The size of a golf ball is good enough.

Then coat each ball by lightly rolling it in flour to help it brown nicely.

Fry the meatballs in a large skillet over medium heat.

Ensure they are golden brown on all sides.

Remove and set aside.

Make the sauce by pouring cream into THE SAME SKILLET.
Then add paprika (and garlic if using). Stir everything well.
Then return the meatballs to the pan (with the sauce) and simmer for up to 12 minutes.

Occasionally, turn the meatballs until they are properly cooked through and the sauce slightly thickens.

Your meatballs are ready to serve. Just sprinkle them with extra paprika for color.

Serve hot with mashed potatoes, pasta, or bread.
