- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (50g) sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (115g) cold butter, cubed
- 2/3 cup (160ml) milk or heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
For the glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)
Easy Stpe-by-Step:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt) in a large bowl.
- Add the cold butter using your fingers or a fork until the mix is crumbly.
- The next step is to add the wet ingredients like milk and vanilla.
- Stir everything until it is combined. (Avoid overmixing.).
- Fold in the blueberries.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape into a circle about 1 inch thick.
- Cut it into 8 wedges.
- Place your cut dough on a baking tray and bake for 22 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- For the glaze, just stir together powdered sugar and lemon juice until it forms a smooth mixture. Then, drizzle over the cooled scones.

Can I Use Frozen Blueberries?
