Eventually, she passed the recipe to me before she passed away…
Well, I like to think that her legacy will continue, so I decided to share this recipe with you.

My Grandma’s Banana Bread Muffin Recipe

The list of ingredients is still long, but don’t let that fool you. This recipe is simple to make, you just need to follow the step by step I have for you!
Ingredients:
Before we start, gather all the ingredients. These measurements are perfectly adjusted, so I recommend that you do not change the recommended amounts.
- 2 cups all-purpose flour;
- 1 teaspoon baking soda;
- ½ teaspoon salt;
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon;
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled – or vegetable oil;
- ½ cup brown sugar;
- ¼ cup sugar;
- 2 eggs at room temperature;
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract;
- 1 ⅓ cups mashed ripe bananas – about 4 small.

Let’s start this amazing and delicious recipe!
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a 12-count muffin pan with muffin liners and set aside.
Step 2
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Step 3
In a medium bowl, add the melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Use a hand mixer on medium speed until the mixture is fluffy – about 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add the eggs and the vanilla to the previous mixture and mix again. Stir in the mashed bananas.
Step 5
Add the dry ingredients that you previously whisked into the banana mixture and stir until it’s combined. Be careful not to overmix the batter!
Step 6
Distribute the batter evenly between all the 12 liners in the muffin pan. Bake at 375°F for about 16-20 minutes or until you can insert a toothpick into the center of the muffins and it comes out clean.
Step 7
Remove the muffins from the pan and let them cool for about 5 minutes (still in the pan). Remove them carefully from the pan and let the muffins cool completely on a wire rack.
