These days I published some smoothie recipes that my readers loved, such as this strawberry smoothie recipe for kids and this peanut butter smoothie recipe with protein (without yogurt).
Today I decided to continue and reveal a recipe that I LOVE!
I make this smoothie practically every week during the warmer months because I have a blueberry farm near me that sells me the freshest and tastiest blueberries ever!
So, if you have blueberries and want to use them in the best possible way, believe me you’ll want to try this recipe. Itโs one of the best youโll taste in your life! Are you ready?
Thick Smoothie Bowl Recipe With Blueberries (no Yogurt)

As you’ll probably notice, the star of this smoothie is the blueberries! In fact, to make this recipe you only need 2 mandatory ingredients, which are frozen blueberries and almond milk.
For the topping, I like to add granola and fresh blueberries.
I like to add protein powder because it helps me keep my protein levels up, but it is not a mandatory ingredient.

- 2 cups frozen blueberries
- 2-3 Tbsp light coconut or almond milk (plus more as needed)
- 1 scoop plain or vanilla protein powder of choice (optional)
Ingredients for Topping:
- Granola

Instructions:
Depending on the blender you have, making this smoothie will be the simplest thing ever. I usually use the Ninja Creami, because it has a smoothie option, but you can use any blender!
Step 1 – Gather all the ingredients
Start by preparing all the ingredients, which are frozen blueberries, almond (or coconut) milk and protein powder (optional).
Step 2 – Put them all in blender
Place all ingredients in the blender. If you have the Ninja Creami, just click the smoothie button and let the magic happen! Once everything is well mixed, your smoothie is ready to serve.
Step 3 – Garnish your smoothie
I always like to add fresh blueberries and granola on top. You can also slice a banana and put it on top of the smoothie. Use your imagination to make the most beautiful smoothie ever!

Admit it! It was the simplest recipe you’ve ever made! I hope so, because as I often say, the simplest recipes tend to be the best.
Before you leave, save this PIN for later. I know the recipe is simple, but you might still forget how to make it.
