I recently posted this simple kid-friendly smoothie recipe (my nephews’ favorite!). However, today I have something different, with protein powder.
This watermelon smoothie recipe is excellent for those looking for a tasty, healthy and energizing smoothie!
It’s a recipe that I love! In fact, I drink this smoothie every Wednesday when I leave my gym workout. So, I’m sure you’ll love it too.

Watermelon Smoothie With Protein Powder Recipe

The main ingredients to make this smoothie are strawberries, watermelon and protein powder. If you want, you can omit the protein powder or one of the fruits. However, I recommend that you start by trying the original recipe and changing it to your liking.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups 1-inch diced frozen watermelon cubes
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 tbsp protein powder
- ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- ½ tablespoon honey
- ½ cup water or unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ cup packed fresh mint leaves
Instructions:
Step 1 – Prepare Ingredients
Add watermelon, strawberries, yogurt, honey, water, and mint into a high-powered blender.

Blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency, adding more water if it appears too thick.
Step 3 – Sweeten to Taste
Sample the smoothie and add extra honey if a sweeter taste is preferred, adjusting based on your yogurt brand and taste preferences.
Step 4 – Serve and Enjoy
Pour into a glass and enjoy right away, garnished with an extra sprig of mint or basil if desired.
